Description:
The action of the visual novel takes place in a dystopian alternate reality in which most countries are governed by unelected bureaucrats and the political power of the government is extremely limited. In particular, the game is set in Santa Rita, a city stifled by corruption and ruled by the Mafia.
You play as Luna, a young woman with a murky past whose life is turned upside down when her father dies and she discovers that her old man was in a very shady business. To make matters worse, Luna discovers that her father has made many enemies over the years. These people seem to hold a deep grudge against her father… and on his family as a whole. They want payback. They want blood. Her blood.
With the help of the mysterious Mr. Cavalcanti, her father’s friend, Luna leaves Santa Rita, her hometown-she flees home to save her life.
This happened three years ago. Since then, Luna has been hiding from prying eyes, trying to slip away from her father’s old enemies as she tries to rebuild her life. So far she has succeeded, but not without having to pay the price.
The old Luna liked being the center of attention, but the new Luna is forced to lay low. She has to lie, to pretend to be someone else, but as the lies pile up, she begins to lose her sense of self-worth. Moreover, despite all that has happened, she misses home. So when Mr. Cavalcanti gives her the green light to return, Luna readily agrees.
The problem is that the danger is far from over. It has only just begun.
